Will travellers be penalised if they cancel requests?
If the deposit has already been paid by the requester, cancellations will result in a drop in your review. Since the review will be visible to all requesters, this may affect your credibility as a traveller. To avoid this situation, only make offers for requests that you are confident in fulfilling.
If a deposit has not yet been paid, there is no penalty, if requester already made a deposit. However, please note that travellers are only permitted 10 cancellations per month. Cancellations are counted regardless of status being 'Offered' or 'Pending Purchase'. Upon hitting the cancellation limit, travellers are temporarily suspended from making new offers or commenting on “Open” requests. The cancellation limit will be reset and suspension lifted on the first day of the following month.
